In an endeavor to share knowledge gained from Karunashraya, Bangalore Hospice Trust embarked on a mission to sign MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with seven satellite hospices for ongoing consultancy and Continuing Medical Education.

As part of this understanding, Bangalore Hospice Trust - Karunashraya assists these hospices by providing initial training followed by those that enhance performance, mission, context, resource, sustainability and related areas. Support is provided through staff training programmes at BHT and through counsel on day-to-day activities and periodic knowledge top up on palliative care on a need basis. Doctors, counselors and nursing staff have benefited alike from this program while nursing staff in particular, have received training in all aspects of in-house and home care treatment.
