Our 55 bed hospice provides total free care (including food and medicines) for the patient. Our holistic team of Doctors, Nurses, Counselors, Physiotherapists and Health assistants provide superior quality of patient care.

We have extended care to over 12897 patients, of which over 7113 have breathed their last peacefully and with dignity after being given professional and compassionate care and comfort. 

Our dedicated home care team of experienced nurses and counselors provide free medical and psychological support to patients and their families, in and around Bangalore in the comfort of their homes – free of charge.Patients can take advantage of the flexibility to alternate between their home and the hospice.

Over 3347 patients have been cared for in the comfort of their own homes, of which 3278 have passed away pain-free and peacefully.

Karunashraya provides a 6 month free health assistants training program for adult women from rural areas to become health assistants during which time they receive a stipend and also free food, board and lodging facility. Successful completion of the course leads to employment either at the hospice or in our home care service. We have trained over 300 students to become caring Nursing aide.
