I have been associated with Karunashraya as a holistic counselor.  During this time, I have gained a lot of insight into various aspects of human life.  This has helped me to lead a meaningful life ever since.”

“My tryst with Karunashraya began in 1999 volunteering at the reception desk.  It may sound routine, but answering phone calls, assisting people who come in has been a wonderful experience in human relations with a feeling of belonging to the place. One has to actually visit the place to know the ‘atmosphere’. A friend who visited after much reluctance said it is like a ‘resort’ – the building, gardens, water bodies blend into a ‘living’ scenario’.”

“Karunashraya weaves a magic web on all who enter…It embeds itself in your heart and then you are forever a passionate advocate for its cause…using every opportunity to make a mention of it. I remember a lady patient with a mouth deformity whose life after a series of downturns including cancer led her to Karunashraya. Forever smiling, she said that ‘although God gives us pain and suffering to test us, he also gives us strength to bear the pain and if we have faith, he also performs miracles’. We take such remarkable life lessons home from Karunashraya every day for which I count myself truly blessed.”
